Muradov The article is devoted to the actual issue – coverage of the beginning of the formation of Dagestan’s relations with Russia in various spheres of social and political life. On a specifi c archival material, the formation of political and tra e mountaineers and Russia is traced. Their role in further socio-economic development of the region is noted.
