Universal History Annotation << Back TRANSFORMATION OF THE NOGAI STATE TRADITION IN A NEW HISTORICAL PARADIGM OF THE 18TH CENTURY D.S. Kidirniyazov, M-P.B. Abdusalamov In article, on the basis of the analysis and use of various sources, the specifi cs of administrative management of Nogais in the 18th century are considered. According to authors, after entry of Nogais into structure of the Russian Empire there is a modification of their state and political development. At the same time, I have rendered the fact that chingizida were never at the head of the Nogai state on the subsequent development of «political tradition». The highest estate in the Nogai society were murza; their origin from the khan Edigey – the creator of the sovereignty of mangytov-Nogai which has laid the foundation of their statehood in the 15th century justified class privileges мурз. It, in turn, granted him the exclusive, inherited rights for political domination. From estate мурз the head of the Nogai Horde – biya moved forward on lifelong board. But, without being chingizida in the opinion of other ruling dynasties of that time Nogai Biya, certainly, conceded to khans in the level of legitimacy of the power. However, as authors of article consider, it at the same time in the Nogai society enhanced tradition of elective delegation by «noble estate» of the Supreme imperious rights to the leader – and she was very firm.
