Shaozheva The article examines the issues related to the transformation of cultural values as basic spiritual started at the present stage. It is shown that it is culture that is the element that contributes to the formation of moral and ethical models and defi nes vectors for economic and socio-political objectives. Defi nes the main directions, following which today is the development of Russian and Cossack national culture. On the basis of data obtained as a result of mass opinion poll revealed the attitude of Russian and Cossack population to traditional and Christian cultures, their attitude towards Western culture and impact in the context of globalization Western culture has on the existence of traditional values. In addition, defi ned by the degree of transformation of the latter. Shows how a Western designs changed behavior type personal consciousness of the Russians and Cossacks. Identified levels of social resistance to Russian and Cossack population of the КBR. The article presents the views of the Russian population and the Cossacks on the infl uence of Islamic culture in the society.
