Universal History Annotation << Back Chechens in Science: Pioneers and Statistics Yakubov A.V. Recently, scientists have paid considerable attention to the history of the emergence and development of various areas of science in the regions. Previously, the author published multifaceted information about Chechen scientists [1–4], including data about those scientists of Chechen origin who were the fi rst to defend their dissertations in various fi elds of science [5]. This article, which is a further study of the issue, examines a regional fragment and analyzes the participation of Chechen women in scientifi c research. For the fi rst time, the statistical picture and dynamics of their involvement in research activities are presented in a systematized form. The author's conclusions are presented based on the results of the analysis of statistical data on the participation of representatives of Chechnya in research activities.
