Gasanov The article is devoted to the stages of formation and development of the transport system of Dagestan and its impact on the industrial and economic development of the region and the region. During the war years, much attention was paid to the expansion of car repair production. The influence of the development of road transport contributed to the establishment of cultural ties between cities and villages of Dagestan. Motorization in the fi rst half of the 20th century contributed to an increase in the urban population and the spread of urban lifestyle in rural areas.
