Universal History Annotation << Back Patriotic jewelry industry (a brief historical review) A.M. Ischenko The article is written for a wide range of readers interested in the history of national culture and the arts. This article in the scientific and popular form of historical milestones outlined the formation and development of the jewelry business in Russia, as well as in several other Soviet republics, formerly part of the Soviet Union. Article is full of interesting facts, historical development of the jewelry business in Russia on the basis of individual handicraft industries. The process of creation based on the first individual production in the second half of the twentieth century, an independent jewelry industrial sub-sectors within the Ministry of Instrumentation, Automation and Control Systems of the USSR, is shown.
