Ischenko Article written for a wide range of readers, and everyone who is interested in the history of the formation and development of the domestic machinery industry, including watch industry. It discusses the main stage - from small to multi-million industry of industrial production of watches. The article presents a fairly comprehensive overview of the wide range of devices of different modification and purpose of time evaluation. Watch is an integral part of our daily lives. Nowadays, not possible to imagine any modern air, land, surface and underwater vehicles or spacecraft, or modern high-tech production without the use of a variety of timing devices. The article provides a brief historical background of the watch industry and a general overview of the current state of watch in our country.
