Tkhamokova The fairy tale makes huge layer of the richest oral and poetic creativity of аdyghe (аdyghes, кabardians, сircassians). This genre is still a little studied, especially in comparative aspect. Meanwhile the fairy tale is considered the most international, international genre therefore needs comparative studying in the international scales. Following this opinion, the author is engaged long ago in drawing up the Index of the аdyghe fairy tales on system of the international index of Aarne-Thompson. This work represents part of more volume work and is devoted to household (novellistichesky) fairy tales. The importance of the presented work is undoubted. It the author introduces the аdyghe fairy tales into the international circulation, enriching the International index of AT with one more national fantastic material. The value of the index is added value by that to the subject types entered into it, versions of fairy tales of other people of the Caucasus are given, than the author puts a basis for creation of the regional index.
