Universal History Annotation << Back Saharian Gold (to the History of the Gold Deposits Discovering and Development in the South of Algeria) Essaid Aouli S.V. Belov The offered sketch is devoted to the history of geological researches and prospecting of the gold deposits Tirek and Amesmesa in the Algerian Sahara, making a basis of a source of raw materials on gold for this country. The role of the Russian (Soviet) geologists in the research and subsequent prospecting of these ore objects is shown. The history of development of these gold objects, influence on it political situation, revival of the Russian business interest to the mining projects of these mineral deposits are characterized. Various aspects of private life and customs of local population and work of geologists are shown. Their changes under the influence of a civilization come to Sahara also shown. Geological features of gold fields are characterized and their state now is shown. The thought that in the conditions of globalization, historical experience of development of gold deposits in difficult desert conditions of Sahara would be very useful to other gold miners beginning similar mining projects abroad is carried out.
