Midova Arrival to musical culture of Circassians (Adyghe) of a harmonica at the end of XIX – the beginnings of the XX centuries became an important factor for change of the settled tradition of mans performance and was a new reference point in formation of «new» performing tradition on a new musical instrument – «tradition of female performance». The special attention is paid by authors to traditional Circassian (Adyghe) ceremonies and customs in which the harmonica took the dominating place, in particular, ceremonies of acquisition, jewelry and storages of a harmonica, ceremonies «Akhkhe the hekh» («Ykhye the hekh») – «Whip-round» and «Pkhjentiekiu shchef» – «A chair purchase», the customs connected with a wedding invitation of the accordion player, accordion player on dance, and also the questions defi ning the status of the master the performer.
