Universal History Annotation << Back DEPARTMENT OF RUSSIAN STATE ARCHIVES OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION – THE LARGEST ARCHIVE OF TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION I.N. Davydova The article tells about the history and the 40-year activity of one of the largest archives of Russia, in the vaults of which are more than 50% of the scientifi c and technical documentation, refl ecting the development of national science and technology from all over in the permanent storage in the federal, state archives of the Russian Federation and municipal archives. The archive is stored documentation, describing all stages of scientifi c and technical creativity: from the creation of the invention to complex structures, building structures and major research developments.
