Alilov The article is devoted to an important and complex phase in national liberation movement in Dagestan. In the year of the 100 anniversary of the February bourgeois-democratic revolution the events of that tumultuous period are reviewed against the background of historical development of Russia, because the revolutionary movement in the Caucasus was an organic part of the Russian revolutionary movement. The article describes the socio-economic and political situation in the region in the pre-revolutionary period, the struggle of the working people of the multinational region in the solution of complex problems to ensure the international unity action of working highlanders and the strengthening of friendship.
