Universal History Annotation << Back KRIUSHA SETTLEMENT HAVE ARBUGIMSKOY MOUNTAINS E.A. Burdin This article deals with the history and cultural heritage of the Volga known Kriushi village (now part of the municipality «City Novoulyanovsk» Ulyanovsk region). Considerable attention is paid to its foundation and origin of the name, as well as the dynamics of the village population and cultural heritage. In addition, it deals with the history of the architectural masterpiece - St Nicholas Church and her ministers. Provides information about the evacuation of villagers from the Kuibyshev hydroelectric station inundation zone in the 1952–1955 years. As a result of historical and cultural studies began eight memorials and unique facts of the history of the settlement.
