On the history of design and construction of the Kerch bridge, located in the largest federal archives of Russia – the Russian State Archive of Social and Political History, the Russian State Archive in Samara, the Russian State Archive of Economics and the Archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences. These are preliminary economic materials for 1942 on the proposed line of Art. Crimean–Kerch, prepared by deputy director of the Scientifi c Research Institute of Railway Transport of the People`s Commissariat of Railways professor NN. Kostromitin, engineer D.I. Dzhus and senior researcher of the department of construction and design of A.V. Sokolov; Decree of the State Defense Committee of January 25, 1944 on the construction of the Kerch bridge; Handwritten comments Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences, G.P. Perederiya of August 21, 1944 on the design of the bridge; Certificate of the construction of the bridge from November 9, 1944 chief engineer of construction I.I. Tsuryupy and the conclusion on the construction of the bridge of the Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences N.M. Gersevanov of July 16, 1947. The documents allow expanding the source study base on the history of the Crimea and can be used for educational and research purposes.
