Renkel The greatest armed conflict in history ended with the complete victory of the anti-Hitler coalition – World War II, Nazism and fascism were driven into a den and destroyed, the thunder of guns ceased, and the survivors were left to mourn the 65 million people who died in battles, who died in the rear and camps burned in flames The Holocaust. 75 years ago, on May 8 and 9, 1945, the signing of German surrender at the headquarters of the Soviet troops in Berlin-Karlhorst put an end to the war. The German-Russian Museum of Unconditional Surrender is the only bi-national institution funded by the Federal Republic of Germany and the Russian Federation. There is no such historical museum curated by two countries anywhere in the world. Every year on May 8, the museum holds the Victory Day in Europe holiday».
