Universal History Annotation << Back TEACHING THE HISTORY OF METALLURGY AT THE UNIVERSITIES OF THE USSR P.A. Zakharchuk The article deals with the experience of teaching history of science and technology. This course was learning in universities of the USSR. During the 1930s, was the most active work on teaching and writing the manuals. Initially, the history of metallurgy was studied only in technical specialities. In the second half of the twentieth century, this course was introduced into teaching in the Humanities as well. The article also analyzes the contribution of individual teachers and methodologists to the development of the discipline.
