REVOLUTIONARY IN OCTOBER 1917 AND THE FATE OF THE ESTATES OF THE SOUTHERN COAST OF CRIMEA |

This article examines the changes in the way of life of the former noble elite, and the relationship of the new Soviet government to the architectural monuments of the Crimean peninsula. The purpose of the article is to reflect the most pressing problems of preserving the architectural and park resources of the former Russian Empire, since a lack of understanding of the historical and cultural signifi cance of many architectural ensembles becomes the reason for the destruction of historical monuments of our Fatherland.
