Universal History Annotation << Back FROM THE HISTORY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHILOSOPHY IN DAGESTAN K.M. Alilova In this article, the author tried to summarize the literature, sources and history of the development of philosophy in Dagestan. The problem is viewed from a historical perspective, starting from the period of the emergence of Islam and ending with the post-Soviet period. The role of the influence of the Arab-Muslim culture on the life of the Dagestan people and the development of philosophy in the region is shown, as well as the scientifi c and philosophical heritage of pre-Soviet Dagestan and modern Dagestan scientists. The important role of Russia in the development of scientific and philosophical thought in Dagestan is determined.
