Universal History Annotation << Back Agronomists in France and the USSR in the Interwar Period: Networking and Politics Khablova E.S. This article is devoted to the infl uence of political relations between France and the USSR on the development of scientifi c contacts in the fi eld of agronomy. The examples of scientifi c activities of agronomists – Léon Rouet, A. Demolon and D.N. Pryanishnikov – show the formation of a strong alliance between French and Soviet scientists, as well as the mutual infl uence of their ideas on the development of scientifi c knowledge.
