Universal History Annotation << Back Attitude to Nature in the History of Civilizations Alilova K.M. The article examines the role of ecology in solving the problem of interaction between society and nature. The subject of the study is the attitude to the environment of some periods of civilization development, starting from Antiquity and at the present stage, about the role of environmental knowledge in the development of society. Today, it is necessary to reveal the significance of man in nature in a new way. This requires a comprehensive approach to solving this problem, its awareness and development of environmental policy. Statements by outstanding scientists of antiquity and modern times about nature and the influence of man on it are given.
