Burdin In article the big file of the unpublished and published sources opening various aspects of process of creation of the Volga cascade of hydroknots is analyzed. Among them it is necessary to allocate especially the scientific and technical documentation which studying has allowed to find out or specify technical and economic parameters of processes of designing and a construction of hydroelectric power stations, and also the contribution of various academic and departmental research establishments to working out and a scheme substantiation «The Big Volga».
